Suggested Christmas Lights Walking Route in Bangkok

One of the best things about Christmas in Bangkok is how close many of the major displays are to each other. With just a short walk—mixed with a quick BTS ride—you can enjoy a full festive night without spending anything at all. Here’s a simple, safe, and scenic walking route you can follow to see the best lights in a single evening.

Start at Central Embassy (Phloen Chit)

Begin your journey at Central Embassy, where the tone is calm, chic, and modern. Enjoy the lush decorations, take a few stylish photos, and soak in the luxurious holiday atmosphere.

Walk: 5 minutes

Walk to CentralWorld (Chidlom)

Follow the Ratchaprasong skywalk from Central Embassy toward CentralWorld. This area is one of the brightest stretches of the city during December.

Time from Embassy → CentralWorld: 7–10 minutes

At CentralWorld, enjoy the giant tree, themed installations, light tunnels, and open plaza displays.

Continue to Siam Paragon (Siam)

From the CentralWorld plaza, continue a short walk to Siam Paragon via the covered skywalk.
Here you’ll find elegant holiday arches, a festive entrance display, and more photo-friendly spots.

Time from Central World → Paragon: 5–7 minutes

For extra colour and fun, cross into Siam Center and Siam Square to see youthful, vibrant displays perfect for photos.

Optional Extension: BTS Ride to One Bangkok

If you’d like to end the night somewhere more peaceful and design-forward, take the BTS from Siam or Chidlom to Lumpini Park (via MRT Silom → Lumphini), then walk 5 minutes to One Bangkok.
The displays here are more modern and spacious, a refreshing contrast to the crowds at CentralWorld.

Travel time: 15–20 minutes including connection

Finish at EmQuartier (Phrom Phong)

If you prefer to stay on the BTS line, skip One Bangkok and ride straight from Siam to Phrom Phong (8 minutes).
EmQuartier offers stylish lights, glowing ornaments, and a lively holiday atmosphere.

This is a great “final stop” because food options are everywhere. And you will be hungry by the end after all of the walking.
