Making Matters: A Sculpture Exhibition by Vayupad Ruttanapet

Making Matters invites visitors to step inside the creative world of Thai sculptor Vayupad Ruttanapet through a series of live studio sessions and workshops running throughout the exhibition period.

Rather than simply viewing finished artworks, visitors are encouraged to experience sculpture as an evolving process. The exhibition explores how moments of transformation, movement, and impermanence can be captured through sculptural form, offering insight into the artist’s ongoing investigation of change.

Throughout the exhibition, Vayupad Ruttanapet will be present in the gallery on selected dates, transforming part of the exhibition space into a working studio. Visitors can observe the artist at work, witness new pieces taking shape, and gain a deeper understanding of the materials, techniques, and ideas that inform his practice.

Selected weekends will also feature workshops led by the artist, providing opportunities for visitors to engage more closely with sculptural processes and creative experimentation. Whether you are an art enthusiast, aspiring artist, or simply curious about contemporary sculpture, these sessions offer a rare opportunity to interact directly with the artist and learn more about his approach.

Making Matters offers a unique perspective on contemporary art by focusing not only on finished works but also on the act of making itself. Each visit may reveal something different as sculptures evolve over time, reflecting the exhibition’s central theme of constant change.
