Description
The Bangkok International Children’s Theatre Festival returns from 21–30 August 2026 with performances, workshops and creative activities for babies, children, teenagers, families and adults.
BICT Fest 2026 marks the festival’s 10th anniversary and its fifth edition. This year’s theme, “Play Attention: Look Who’s Growing Up!”, celebrates the role of play in creativity, learning and discovery.
Audiences can experience 11 productions by artists from nine countries, including South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Belgium, France, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
The festival hub will be at One Bangkok, where the central park will be transformed into a lively space for performances and family activities. Additional programmes will also take place at Goethe-Institut Thailand and the Sodsai Pantoomkomol Centre for Dramatic Arts at Chulalongkorn University.
